This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://lets.inspire.fans and https://inspire.fans using the website or the app (the "App").

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the App, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the App, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the App, and information about how you interact with the App. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the App, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • "Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the App.
  • Device Token. Each cell phone, tablet, browser creates its own id so it can receive notifications.

Additionally when you create an account you may use oAuth login with Google. This will collect your email address and name. If you prefer not to share that information create a child account or a guest account.

Additionally when a person makes a purchase or attempts to make a purchase through the App, we send them to our financial providers who may collect certain information from them, including name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

WE CONSIDER STORIES PUBLIC

The App allows you to create and publish stories including uploading images, audio and text. We consider everything in your story to be public and a work of fiction. Do not use your real name, address, phone number or any other real personal information here.

Stories and all their assets, even in their unpublished form, are publically available. By public we mean access, you retain the copyright to your own work.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through our financial providers (including processing your payment information, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations whether by us or our financial providers).

Additionally, we and/or our financial providers use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our App (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the App, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

  • We use Device Tokens to send you notifications about the stories you are engaged with such as the next chapter is ready or if a character was waiting they are now ready to talk again.
  • We use Device Tokens to send you system notices such as when new features or stories are available.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our App’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right please login to account. Go to Settings, choose the account you want to access and then choose "Download Account"

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the App), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the App, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

You may delete your data by logging into the account. Go to Settings, then choose "Delete Account". We have placed a 30 day hold on the delete in the event of fraud or someone accidently pressed the button for you so you can recover it within that time.

We do not delete reported content when reported by humans or machines. We use this to protect our other users by training AI on it, doing quality control and improvements on our safety systems.

Adopting an approach of ‘privacy by design and by default’, SuperAwesome utilises proprietary technologies so that it neither collects, stores nor shares your personal data to provision advertisements or target advertising to you. SuperAwesome acts as a service provider, as defined by the CCPA, and does not use data collected from children under the age of 16 for any purpose other than to provide contextual advertising for our Site.
